about on wits end with this thing a little help please

ok well the gap was wide and the flywheel sounds like a box of rocks guess i should have checked that before i installed it. ok back to the drawing board. i didn't even set the gap and try it. threw flywheel in trash time to get another. the other two i have sounds the same way so out they went as well. banghead

People read into things differently. But how you explain "the wall" like bike only gets to one part in the rpm ... Here's my answer to it. Needs a bigger pilot throw a 30 in. Either that or clip position where your transferring to needle. When I experience that in my head clicks as loss of fuel or volume of fuel to rev past. Most rich bogs , and lean "hitting wall" feel totally different. Get your pilot n needle working first. Them mess w main

ok was board and reinstalled the flywheel that was on it set the gap at .19 tried it same thing but i noticed something i had over looked before. hear is some pics. IMG_20140321_190459_541_zps0ebxpus9.jpg

as you can see the piece is loose you can wiggle it. is that something that can be jb welded back or do i need a new stator as well. i have a ricky stator new style flywheel coming it was recommended by f.a.s.t. thats what i went with he said the new riveted and bolted style has had 0 failures. so do i need to get me another oem stator on the way or whats your thoughts
