mxturd
I heard that the R6 shock will lower my rear end a bit and stiffen it up. I would appreciate feedbaclk from anyone with experience with these shocks. I use a lowering kit on my bike right now, we just run Rodeos here in Missouri, no jumping or trailriding. Thanks
Nieskes
Its a good shock for what you can pick them up for, you will have yo drill the hardened bushings out to the correct size.
ban99
I have a stock r-6 shock in brand new condition. If interested PM me.
trickedcarbine
They are awesome on drag bikes with longer swing arms. Not quite so awesome on stock/shortened swing arms. I spent two seasons trying different things with it to get it to hook up and in the end the stocker on a cheap Billit lowering link destroys it. There is another option..... Try running 18" tires and a link from the Warrior. That gets ya pretty low yet still cushy.
mxturd
Thanks. I have the 18" rears already, Ill look for a warrior link. Ialready got the r6 sshock on its way, so I guess Ill bolt it on and see, but I will also see about the warrior link

Glenyboy
The r6 has a 410lb spring, that guy sells a 225lb spring which he has sold to banshee owners
trickedcarbine
^hmmmmm, now with the right coil at the right price the R6 shock couldbe fun again.
trickedcarbine
Definitely only for flat riding
gomerkfx700
How would the r6-r1 shock do for a 325# rider on a +4 arm would it be to soft
Deadbeat
might work ok for a big fella with a +4, why dont peeps try a FZ6 shock? probably a bit more core compliant than R series
mxturd
I emailed the guy about the lambretta springs and he told me it wouldnt be worth the shipping or customs or something, I emailed him back and told him Id like a quote on it and havent heard back
Glenyboy
Well in respects it's only a spring, if you could contact a suspension shop in the USA they could probably get a hold of one for you. Knowing that the stock one is just over 400lb rating and you would be after a softer one of 200lb +.
