i pulled my head off my 87 banshee to check it out and it has factory pistons i believe, the only mark on them is a arrow and a "G" my compression was at 116 both cylinders even, i have a small amount of wiggle in the pistons but i know a little is ok, my Q is should i rering this thing or what? it runs really good..

116 is fine. I ran my stock cyls/pistons down to 85/90psi. Still ran great, i only rebuilt because i was going bigger and porting....

Just check it ever so often.

thanks for the quick replys, now the only thing im worried about is the rod bearings, but im guessing if this has stock pistons from 87 it cant have that many hours on it so the bearings should be ok, if it blows ill just go ported 4 mil lol,  just dont want it to break a day into a week long dune trip

around 20-25 psi give or take. on a stock stroke/bore engine when going from stock head. depending on altitude. the higher the altitude the less it raises the compression.
