Ruko
I was at some grass drags a few months ago with a buddy who has a stock banshee with pipes and a cool head. There was Raptors, a Predater, a DS 650, a 400ex, and a V-force which was on nitrous ( but had a huge guy riding it ) and a bunch of other banshees. He easily beat all the four strokes and made it to the all banshee final. Nothing else could compete. Banshees rock, four strokes suck. You should have no problem kick'n their four stroke ass!!! banshee#48
I have an 03 Banshee with cool head 19cc domes, CPI drag pipes 32mm flatslides, V-force reeds, reed spacers, 4-degree timing advance, K&N filters and a +4 swingarm. I also have an 04 V-force with HMF dual exhaust, EPI clutch kit and a K&N filter. Both bikes have the suspension removed and struts installed and they run almost identical times in the 100yd drags !! Hi, The Banshee isn't ported yet, but hopefully in the near future. The 32mm carbs seem to work very well with the CPI pipes. No bog or flat spots and much faster than stock. Before I started to modify my bike, I knew I wanted to run CPI out of frame pipes so I called CPI and was told that to realize the full HP gain of the pipes that I would have to remove the tors, rejet and go to open K&N filters. If I did these things I would see a 20HP gain. I chose to upgrade the carbs 1st thing so I wouldn't have to later on. So far I'm very happy with the results !! As far as the swingarm I started with a +10" and had way too much tire spin, tried a +8", not much difference, now I have a +4" and am very happy with it !! InFlames
Why does everyone talk about slappin a ebc clutch on a V-force when I thought those things were auto?
Ruko
So have you raced yet?? If so what happened??
banshee#48
Why does everyone talk about slappin a ebc clutch on a V-force when I thought those things were auto? It is an auto, you clutch it like a sled, change springs and weights, you can change the point of engagement and increace the side pressure for less slippage. A +10 swingarm and no porting , you must of had real faith in those carbs.
