turbowrenchhead
What aftermarket cylinders are a direct replacement of the stock ones?
uman1030
Do you mean in bore size also? There are stock stroke cub cylinders that i know of. Pretty sure i remember seeing these in a 66mm may have even been 65mm bore wich was quoted as an old style. I know most are 68mm now
sheerider11
There is no direct replacement. Just another oem one. All after markets are "ported" different
turbowrenchhead
Not so much bore size. I don't want to have to change any other parts like the head or exhaust. I would like to keep everything else the same. One of my cylinders has a bridge missing between the boost port and main port. It ran last year with no problems like that. However I would like to have another set ready to go if and when it fails. So either I have to pull mine off and get them re-sleeved or buy another set and port them and paint them and so on. I can get another set of cylinders for around $200 plus $80 for bore on ebay. Re-sleeving will cost $350~$400 depending on what sleeves are chosen. Or I can just spend more on a nice aftermarket set thats already ported and proven. Edited February 26, 2014 by turbowrenchhead

You could run all your existing parts with nothing to change but your domes. Your carbs and pipes will work fine.

turbowrenchhead
Is Serval a cub? Are there different bore sizes? I don't want to go to big of displacement because of the longer trail riding I do. I'm already the first guy to run out of gas running with the 4 stroke's. Who's got a good deal on a set? sheerider11
If gas mileage is of concern, get a 4 stroke. Or a very mild ported or non ported stock motor. Or you could just ride slow, but who the fuck does that?
turbowrenchhead
I'm able to hang so far with the stock tank and the six pack rack 2.5 gallon reserve with a dune/race port on the cylinders. There is no way in hell I'm buying a 4 poke for trail riding. My 4 poke plows snow and drags shit.
sheerider11
Well then trade in the 2.5 gallon for a 5 gallon and let it rip.
turbowrenchhead
That 5 gallon tank they make for the banshee looks terrible. Plus it restricts your turning radius. A friend of mine put one on and he had to install a 6" handle bar riser to get any kind of turning radius. IMS makes a nice looking 4 gallon that I will end up buying down the road.
