moparmadman40
i got things going and broke in my new engine yesterday, did a compression test on the freshly assembled engine and it was 145 psi. Today i did another compression test after seating the rings yesterday and was surprised to see 168 psi. So i'm wondering if anyone else has measured both fresh and seated ring compressions and what the differences were?

dirtydownunder
Have you re torqued the base and head nuts ? Do it when it's cold. Yeh if it hasn't blown up or broken down yet, so far, so good.
