ETR174
So my Banshee used to have a utility rack that mounted on the rear grab bar. The old owner of the shee put it on to carry gas cans and in order to mount it he had to take a saw and cut a U shaped hole in the plastic. I took the rack off the back of it and I see the cut he made and was wondering if there was a way I could cover the gap. I've heard of putting fiberglass sheets over it to keep the stiffness but I want to see if there is an easier way of repairing it. I'll post pics soon. ETR174
I just want it too look good without spending too much money. I don't want to spend $300 on new plastic. I HATE the look of the Maier alternative plastics too and those are suppose dto be cheaper Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk

ETR174
I think fiberglass would work though right? Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
Starwriter
I think fiberglass would work though right? Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk Not likely. The first time the plastic flexes, the fiberglass is going to fly off of there like a cheerleaders panties on prom night. I'm sure some of your Michigan budies have some used OEM plastics. ETR174
Oh, well no crap. Well the rest are like $300 a piece. That's ridiculous. I can look at Maier stock style fenders I guess.
