Kompulsive Concepts
Hey Banshee owners, I'm Cory Kennedy & I would like to take some time and tell you about myself, the story behind Kompulsive Concepts and why I'm here now. I have been interested in & riding sport quads for the last 12 years or so. I owned my first Banshee 10 years ago, a few years before I was old enough to drive and recently finished building an Asphalt Drag Banshee from the ground up. If you have done a complete restoration or pieced together a Banshee, you know there are plenty of parts available for your bike, but no one makes a new wiring harness except for Yamaha. They're new, but they're kinda pricey, along with the other 95% of the parts purchase for them. As my Banshee was getting close to being finished, I knew I would be needing a harness, but couldn't find a new one for under $123 or a "drag harness" that was ready to go....so, I ended up purchasing a used OEM harness from Motor City ATV for $70. I was pleased with my purchase and felt like I payed a fair price for my harness, but I wanted all of the useless wires cut off, so, I sent my harness to ************************ (Not gonna mention any names), I was charged $35 to have only the TORS removed. By then, not only did I have $105 invested in a harness I wasn't happy with, I still needed to cut some more wires off! During this time period, my Dad cut all of the unneeded wires off of his harness but wouldn't share any information with me on how to do it, so that was indirect motivation to figure out how to do it myself. After a little research and browsing through a few photos, I figured out what was needed and what wasn't. From that point I was buying, what others referred to as "junk harnesses" and turning them into "drag cut" harnesses that appeared fairly close to new. After cutting a few harnesses, reading about the Banshee electrical system, and a random idea pop into my head, I decided to search for the materials needed to make new harnesses and repaired used electrical components. To make a long story not so long, I have found the connectors and plugs needed to replicate Banshee harnesses, allowing me to make new wiring harnesses in a handful of various lengths. I have harnesses that range from $30-$90. So depending on what you purchase, you can now buy a harness that is twice as nice as an OEM harness and at half the price, with harness prices being very competitive with used harness you'll find else where. If you've made this far, thank you for spending some time to read about me and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I will be glad to answer any questions you have! - Cory Kennedy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

locogato11283
I got mine a few weeks ago and it looks very nice. Everything is new and put together very well. These harnesses put the OEM junk to shame. I can assure you it will be well worth your money to run one of these.
