ETR174
I have the stock bulbs for my Banshee and I was wondering what socket type the Banshee is stock for the headlights? I've looked online and all I can figure out is that they are 30 watt each. I'm looking to buy LED bulbs to replace them. ETR174
I also have one more question, should I stick with 30 watt each or is 50 watt each okay too? Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
blynch89
I believe they are both 35 watt lights, with stock stator I don't think you can run two 50 watt lights. Someone else might be able to chime in with more info tho Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
ETR174
Ok, not looking to blind anyone or anything. I'll just stick will 30 watt Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
03DMshee
LED do not pull as hard as a halogen bulb You can get away with 50 watt LEad all day stock stator
03DMshee
Sorry...I meant t9 say differently. ..you need way less wattage with LED's to give you the same lumens. ....example...same lumans...halogen. ..50 watts...LED...like 10 watts or sone shit
uman1030
↑ this is true. LED's are brighter per watt then incandescent bulbs. a 10w LED puts out almost the same light as a 60w incandescent. About 3x as much as the same watt holagen
ETR174
That would make sense. Good thing is that it would put less strain on my stator. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
03DMshee
Correct sir and you get bright lighting to boot!
ETR174
Oh so your saying that when I start it up that the lights wont get dim and bright up as the idle increases? Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
uman1030
no they will still dim and bright as rpm changes unless you have a battery or use a capacitor.
