Kenny907
Hi everyone, I just got a banshee few weeks ago. And while it's winter I would rather work on it then have it sit. About my shee. It's a 2001. Has good compression but have not tested the leak on it. It has renthal bars, tors delete, oversize carbs (unsure of size), boy seen reeds and cages, fmf gold series with power core two tails. Race front fenders. Nerd bars. Itp rims. K&n air filter. Heads ported and polished and side cases polished. And it's rejected. Just bought a few parts it needs like fog lights and front plastic and ball joints. So now it's time for more engine work, what do you guys think I should do next? Maybe aftermarket radiator or some cool heads? I will be riding trails more than anything but sometimes will storm up dirt roads and ride tracks with friends too. Think a 4mil would help me with the bottom end power I might be looking for? Colby
You port the cylinders on a 2 stroke. On a 4 stroke the head is ported. What is "rejected" on your bike? Or did you mean "rejetted"? Basically, take motor out, call the site sponsors, talk to each of them (some will not answer the phone so just skip over them), tell them what you want to do, get motor back, install, and have fun. I meant rejetted. Sorry about that. The guy told me it was ported and polished so I must have just gotten a little scammed lol but it's okay. Well I was thinking of doing the work myself. I just didnt know what I should do next, I'm thinkin I'm gonna do cool heads Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Young Guns Racing
You won't be able to take full advantage of a cool head without some good port work. This is an opertunity. Send your cylinders to a builder, have them port or re-work existing work to what you are looking for and have custom domes cut for your cool head. Then ride on
