30 pilots 440 mains to start with needle clip in the middle air screw 2 turns out. IMO those carbs are too small. Soak the carbs in some gas to clean them for a day/night

A bad stator will ONLY show its issue under load. Revving it is not under load. Check it with an ohm meter. Your clymer book has the specs.

Both horrendous pieces of information. 440 main? And on Mikunis you really should be using a different pilot if you need to be 2 full turns out.

If you want your carbs cleaned, fucking clean them. Soaking them in gas isn't gonna fix the fact that gas has been soaking in them since they were manufactured and the bike's tank topped off.

The. You say a bad stator only shows it's messed up under load, but to check it with a meter? So do I ohm it while I have it "under load"?

Pretty conflicting and not the only way stators go bad.

Man. I'm glad YOU took the time to handle that. I'm too lazy.
