Questions about race gas

It's funny…..you're taking shots at Zilla for being known for having NOT finished an EFI Banshee.

You are known for…….nothing. :shrugani:  Plus I'm pretty sure YOU have not built an EFI Banshee.

ZillaFreak joined in 2010 and so far 117 people have "Liked" something he's had to say.

You joined in 2008 and so far a grand total of 8 people have "Liked" something you had to say.  :(

Don't take that personally…..it's just a reflection of your personality.

Hey, don't look now but…… :starwars:  I'm pretty sure YOU found somebody else to argue with.  :starwars:  :starwars:  :starwars:

How does this have any bearing on the real world? The guy who ported my bike has close to no posts on here all he does is sell shit, using your logic he's a nobody. Meanwhile his bike runs 5.7's at 115-117 in the 1/8th. Derp.

It doesn't. :shrugani:

I'm just fucking with this guy cause his head is so full of shit, that his breath smells like manure…..and he's thinking it's someone else's opinion stinks. :rotflmao:

I posted links with info and he rushed right past them, so…...

Is 100ll oxygenated? I thought I read about the main concern behind running 100ll in applications other than aviation is that the oxygenation of it made it difficult and in some cases impossible to jet properly in carbureted engines? I would really like to be able to run 100ll in my bike at 5.50 a gallon instead of race fuel at 12 bucks a gallon.

No it's not.

Yes you can. (If you can buy it near you.)

It's readily available to me, there's a big private airport 3 miles down the road from my house :) windy, what's the compression threshold on 100ll? I know squish band width, angle and clearance all have effects on preignition but what is the ideal cranking comp to use this fuel with?

Well it acts like 106-108 octane race gas so you can figure compression limits off that.

I always use calculated compression, but kicking compression should be safe around 165ish.

Its not oxygenated, its formulated to run at different altitudes and to prevent boiling or vapor lock and yada yada but not oxygenated. The jetting is just needs to be tweaked after switiching to it.

Not to continue to stir the pot but ATV I think what youre failing to realize is that these guys are talking about running this in a 2 stroke banshee not a cargo plane or passenger plane our banshees do not fly in the air so honestly we don't give a shit what it does to an airplane we want to know what it does to a banshee and windy and sprinkler answered that so stop arguing this is about banshees not airplanes

Well try not to take anything Mr. Maniac has to say to seriously.

He takes shots at me for dyno testing everything I can, doubles down on those comments by teasing that I probably have put a dyno on a dyno……..

Then goes on a V-force 4 thread and posts the pilot jetting advice that I DID ALL THE DYNO WORK TO DISCOVER! I'm the person who told EVERYONE to start by going up one pilot size bigger when switching to the 4's before they were even released to the public.

So apparently he's comfortable using info that I pass on…….as long as he can pass it off as his down the road or use it to look informed. I don't mind the hypocrite behavior…..but does he have to be such a opportunistic hypocrite?

I've had vf4s when they came out and everyone knew you had to step up pilot. You could tell right away. I was a believer in vf4 from beginning unlike most though. And willaDuncan I stated that a lot of those properties didn't matter in a banshee. I also said I dont know how it reacts with mix gas so much. All facts that people like to ignore that I said. I did say them though. Dont put words in my mouth.
