Critique my 4mm woods build

The thing had plenty of power before the build so I assumed when Kevin did the compression and leak down test he was right when he said I don't recommend a new top end. Lol the fact is hjr sucks and is overrated! Guy doesn't even stand behind his work or willing to help out. This forum proves it and his Facebook page proves it. Ct might not build the fastest shit around, but at least his work is reliable and works hour after hour of riding with no problems. Besides not only have I had a great experience with his work before, he's down the street from my house and if I ever have problems I'll just drop by. I'm not looking for the fastest thing around, I'm simply looking for something that's fast yet reliable. Kevin couldn't do any of those. As for my questions on the shout box? Big deal! People ask stupid questions on this forum all the time! Nothing new about that. Obviously high temp hose is the way to go, but I was curious about any alternatives? Sorry I disappointed you bro! :)

Yeah well ct is simply the most convenient guy for me. Plus we had a great experience with him before. I guess we will wait and see what happens.

...really???? We haven't heard that story before....

 

Not to kick a dead horse , but damn..my Ex-wife didn't bring up old crap every chance she got , as much as you.

I got about 2 years worth of chasing non existant issues and annoyed members on here trying to figure out my issue. all i know is.. once i got word out others came out more openly about their miss haps they originally kept quiet not to get flamed on here....

 

I know of atleast 3-4 other posts of people having more or less the same exact issue I once had by the same build

 

 

Like i said... doesn't mean HJR isnt putting out good running motors... it just seems like he is more of a hit or miss deal

 

 

once i got my issue ironed out by someone it was a whole new bike and ripped hard for a 350

Yeah my experience with him was a definite miss. I guess no one is perfect in this field, but I just wish he would've been more helpful in trying to fix the issue instead of driving me in circles.

If we couldnt help in 2 years, what makes you think we know how to port an engine which is IMO far harder to achieve with good results and trouble shooting an engine. I personally always got help here on both my bikes. As rude as some people are here, they do help. That and other reasons is why im a supporting member here.

I just got my cylinders back from HJR today. Got a MX port along with 4 mm crank, cool head w/ domes, and pistons. (Also got shift star, pancake bearing and new clutch) All went pretty smooth dealing with Kevin, took a week. Should have it back in the bike this weekend and on the dyno early next week. Ill post my results when I get them.

Quick pics of the jugs. Both jugs have identically  the same dimensions. I checked with a micrometer are soooo close to each other if not exact. The pic of the transfers sucks and will retake that. The before and after of the transfers is almost comical. The exhaust is smooth as glass. I'm very impressed so far.
