sprinklerman
Are you suppose to fatten it up any when u advance timing?? Sent from my N8000_WHTE_CKT using Tapatalk Possibly. If you were real close before bumping the timing you might need to rejet. Timing adds heat typically. Strm Trpr
91 octane +4* no problem but make sure you do a proper plug chop. if your mains are spot on now and then you advance the timing you might push the motor into detonation and that will separate an unwelded crank in short order. FYI, get the motor up to temps. Pull old plugs and switch them for new ones. Fire up the bike, nuts up on the gas tank and run it 2nd thru 6th WFO. When you reach max speed in 6th, keep it WFO and simultaneously kill the engine and pull in the clutch while keeping it WFO and coast to a stop. Swap plugs back to the old ones and ride back to your shop. Cut the threads off the plugs and look for 1-2mm brown ring around the base of the white porcelain. If you knew that already, then
joey83
Ive heard of guys going up one main size with the extra timing. But like others said, if it was exactly on or a little lean the extra timing could push it over the edge. Not likely it sounds
sheerider1026
It depends on the current tune. Timing, compression, fuel, and current jetting
BANSHEEBEEFM2M
the guy I bought it from runs half 91/half 110 idle what size domes I have yet but I'm not even going to put straight pump gas in it anyway Sent from my N8000_WHTE_CKT using Tapatalk
sheerider1026
Do a compression test. That's what matters
