locogato11283
Yo guys, my new forum is up and running. With the help of Brett Sanderson, we hope to be able to provide a stable platform for drag related news and information. Brett's web page will be the designated home page for the forums. He has tons of cool stuff there. Check it out - http://www.atvdragracer.com/ The new forum is located at - http://www.atvdragracerhq.com/ Thanks! sheerider11
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. Who will be the mods? Not saying this place is bad but it would be nice to have only useful info posted. Not the same questions 100 times, people playing dumb posting useless/wrong info, people bashing others. I'm not saying I haven't taken part in any of those at all, but it would be nice to have all useful info only. Not have to go through pages and pages and pick and choose who is right.

SlowerThanYou
Hopefully it takes off and isn't dead like every other forum out!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Are you referring to all the other drag forums out there? Because as I see it, this site seems to be doing damn good! I saw a number of the drag racer's starting to show up here. I'm pretty sure I have an idea why. As for the other ATV drag site's failing. New ones attempted to take to up the slack, but are missing the boat badly. There are some lessons learned good & bad from these other failed or failing forums. Some of the problems are forum related, some of them are the racing association related & some are just people/member/racer related. I wish you the best of luck! IMO, you need to define the key elements missing for the ATV Drag Racing sport to grow. You have captured part of what's needed for the sport with ATVDragRacer.com. I'm not sure if the same has been done with adding the forum to it. Again this is my opinion! The ATV drag racing sport has been stagnant for some time. I take my hat off for everyone trying to breath some life into it. Including the failed sites, the sites treading water & your new site. There are many things that need changing & you have only hit on one of them. I'm not pointing the finger at you, because you took a step in the right direction. Many other's need to step up, but that isn't happening!

Many other's need to step up, but that isn't happening! Brett has done a good job of promoting nearly everyone in the drag industry. He promotes tracks, builders, websites, etc.. In my opinion, he has done way too much for way too long. It seems to me everyone has become complacent because Brett has been doing all the work. So you're right, others need to step up. Brett's home page at atvdragracer.com is a nice site. There is a lot of cool stuff and current info. We're hoping the forums can cater to everyone with an up to date platform. The PSDA was a failure from the start. Why they would copy PS is beyond me. Between Brett's new site and my forum, we should be able to provide the drag racers with the info and content they've been needing.
n2otoofast4u
Ok, so your providing info. Big deal. If you are not going to host events with a better structure than what exists then what is the point of the forum? Its just another "site" it provides no needed change to the races themselves. I am hoping the newer platform, with Tapatalk, will allow easier access to all the racers. And I am hoping that Brett's new home page will keep interest up with new pictures, videos, news, schedules and other. Yes, the organization needs work. Maybe this will open up a place where everyone can get it out in the open and start some changes. Or maybe it won't. I would hope that you'd give your input on the new site being you've been around it a long time.. I thought your safety thread was good. SlowerThanYou
Tyler, I don't think you are going to get it. You are purely looking from the outside in. n2to, I & other's get it from an inside perspective. You brought up coping PS. There was some good things there that PSDA is missing from PS. Plus, they are also following in some of the same bad footsteps of PS. I was not a fan of Charlie at all, but the site did have some good in its day. As for your new forum, you are missing some key elements. You need to look at some of the key areas that are making BHQ work. While the other ATV sites are failing. N2to's safety area thread is only a small part of the problems.

This is your sport, you say you want it to grow, yet your saying he's missing stuff he will never get and this and that won't work. So why wouldn't you put forth an effort to help to get this going in the right direction?
J-Madd
I wish it all the best. The biggest downfall I see is that folks can't afford to build competitive bikes and afford travel/lodging for races.

It all falls on death ears. Same as n2to's/other's suggestions. BHQ is working well for its member's & this is where I'm staying.
dozer
I wish it all the best. The biggest downfall I see is that folks can't afford to build competitive bikes and afford travel/lodging for races. i can afford a decent small motor, chassis, and driving but at my weight it wouldnt be competitive. im not traveling everywhere with anorexic teenager riding my stuff.
