bansman76
ok guys I called Kevin and told him what was going on. he said to coat all the O rings in grease then reinstall, that's what he does. ive about decided to pull cylinders off to have them checked( decked if needed) . after looking at top end gasket kits , I see they offer cylinder gaskets for ported cylnders . ive never heard of this but ive never had a set of ported cylinders either lol so do I get gaskets for ported cylinders or not ? thanks for all advice
sleeper06
How did you hold the o rings in place during install if you didnt use grease? If u didnt use something to secure o rings I would think u pinched something
bansman76
I used just a small dab of grease in a couple spots to hold them. kevin said to liberally coat them in grease

sheerider11
ive got all the coolant out of the area. im curious to know how it can get past piston rings or how it go to the crank areaIf it is a bad enough leak, through the ports. But didn't you find out it was the plug in the cylinder?
bansman76
Plug on left cylinder was leaking yea. Coolant was on right side of crank
Starwriter
Rings have an end gap. Any coolant on top of the piston will leak past the rings. You drained the cylinders before you pulled the head off, right?
bansman76
Yea I drained them b4.
