jdsfel
I am curious what this bowl is for as it is on left carb on my sons shee. Mine (normal) is on right. We were doing some carb cleanup and I noticed it wasn't right. Bowl has no bebe and inside tube is shorter. His other bowl has flat face down low with no bebe like normal but this one is rounded. Also both his carbs have this huge cast block Other than this, his carb bodies are identical to mine. Are these just a different style or what? Hope the pics work-first time with photobucket! Thanks guys!
Zillaguy
the bowl with the BB is the left carbs bowl.

jdsfel
So does anybody have a good left side bowl they don't need? As soon as I saw it I knew it wasn't correct but still curious what it came from. Maybe both carbs are from some other application as they both have that big cast chunk. His right side carb has bowl with flat front so maybe it was from a shee.
hoppedupandcutdown
I've heard that early model banshees did not have the "BB". As long as it has the small passage for fuel to get to the choke it is correct.
jdsfel
So this may be an earlier model bowl then.....any idea on the shorter internal tube?
Larry's Shee
Does son's set-up have choke crossover tube? Or two choke knobs? I think some missed the fact you are talking/showing two different carbs on two different Banshees. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
jdsfel
Yes Larry his carbs are set up with one choke pull and crossover. His machine did start a little harder than mine so we put my left bowl on today and now it starts right up! Now I'm in the market for a complete stock left carb as I blew out sight window while cleaning mine and we still need a bowl! Anyone got one laying around in good shape send me a pm. Thanks for all the replies
