Starwriter
Let me guess, Ricky Stator or RM stator? Aftermarket stators and flywheels are junk.
rmrider12522
Which wires are supposed to be spliced for the key switch? because i got it with it deleted, and it was sort of rigged. Tors was unplugged but i rewired it all so it worked properly

Starwriter
Red/black and black key switch wires need to be connected together for it to run. Make sure the flywheel didn't fall off. Check the pickup coil gap. Check to see if the wire harness melted to the right stinger and shorted out. If all that checks out, you're going to have to break out the multimeter and start doing resistance checks.

hoppedupandcutdown
I've even had the contacts in the thumb on/off switch get dirty and just shut it off all on it's own.
