J-Madd
He's tried as much as 18 Rippers on tracks that don't hook, which is why maybe rj needs more tire than what I'm used to seeing. And maybe OPs track too, who knows.

fappy'97
Cost? 2 to 3 times the cost of skat trak carcass ones.
dozer
"Tires cost 260 to me. I spent 100 to ship to California. Bill to Scat-Trak is going to be about 320 a tire. Shipping back. Wheels from direct drive 200 each". i don't know about the weight. i think he is figuring around 1400 for 20 staggered rippers.
phunt
RDZ record has been blown away by a guy that runs 14 staggereds. Also, Rob doesn't even run those tires anymore. He does run some style of small roll out flat paddle though, which seem to work very well. I just didn't want the OP to go buy some over aggressive tires based in what works for a minority of racers. Rjatv may run at a track where you need a lot of paddle. I'd say look at the bikes at your track that lay down good numbers and go from there. I have always been a Dan hull fan the man dominated his classes for years, the rdz did what nobody did he ran #s with smaller size motors what bikes was running twice the size, then you start hearing about Jason menz, man this guy is just taking it to another level. I give props to all that make you say, we can go faster, I have talk to Menz and I'll tell you this, he is a straight up dude he does things that you would not even think of. I think both rdz and Menz deserve credit for what they have done..

While most of our conversations was dealing with clutch. I thank him for a couple areas that I will take to my grave before mentioning.
