LT ROOKIE
I just got a 14mm DM with a 2-5 override trans with a billet 2nd gear. Can I use that transmission for 1/8 mile asphalt? I really don't want to take the motor apart
Surfrjag
i would think you would want 1-5 some would use a 1-4 with a manual 5 and 6 1/8 mile is a long ways for only 4 gears

10milmike
You are going need a 1-5 for the 1/8 mile. I have a 2-5 with a manual 1st and it killing my et shifting from 1st to 2nd. I been meaning to pull the tranny to have it cut to be a true 1-5. You will not be able to pull your gearing coming out of the hole with a 2-5.
