I am/have been part of alot of other fouums/e-mail lists that get a bunch of people together that all want the same mod. Then someone contacts the manufacture or reseller and tells them that we have say 20 people that will order this thing from you. What can you do about the price? For example, Lets say the Toomy T6s come out and toomy is asking $550 for them. Well if we could get 15-20 people that all want the new pipes then we could talk Toomy into giving us a better price. Then we contact a dealer/manufacture and tell them that we have X number of people that want something and see what they can do about the price. I have also seen it work in the other direction (better if you ask me) where you contact the dealer/manufacture first. They will say I will give you this product at this price if you can get this many people to buy at the same time. I would be willing to organize a group deal. Right now I am in the market for a set of front shocks. So if there is any intrest in that let me know and I will call around and see what I can do to get us a good price.
