JasonsBanshee
I know it's early, but planning these rides out early in the past has yielded great turn outs. WINDYCITYJOHN400 has the date set for April 19th. Historically speaking, this date is hit or miss with weather, but I'm optimistic and feel that this is late enough in the spring to give us a good chance for decent weather. Badland's hours are 9-5. I normally get to the gates around 8:15-8:30 because the lines can get long. We normally park due west of the track. I've heard they took out the track, but this map shows where we've parked in the past which seemed to work out well. Let's plan on parking there. When you get there, get your bike unloaded and we'll do a group picture around 9:30. The group picture has been pretty sweet in the past. Here's one I have. Also, in the past we have tried to bring food/snacks. It really hasn't worked out, but do we want to plan a lunch? I vote yes, but if it's a bad idea feel free to shoot it down. I think we should plan to eat around 12:30 in the parking lot. It doesn't need to be very organized, just bring a drink for yourself and something to throw into a pot luck stlye lunch. So lets start a roll call. Copy/paste the confirmed list to keep the list up to date. I'm looking forward to the season and getting to ride with everyone in 2014! WINDYCITYJOHN400
It's January! If you don't have a plan in place to have one running by April......then lets get you a plan. LOL What do ya need? I'm obviously "All In" for this ride (since I planned it) But as stated, sometimes depending on weather we might need to defer to the May date. But I like the idea of trying to get a good group plan in place now with April in mind. Glad to see others this eager to ride so early in the year. Put me and at least 3 others from my usual crew in on the head count. (Wes, Bill and Chris)
Hazzard Racing Customs
I currently am in the same boat but plan on having something to play with and have a 3 or 4 man crew of banshees that usually roll with me I'm pretty sure we will all be there

Looking at the schedule, I assumed May 3rd was a totally separate ride. For me, I’ll make one or the other, but I won’t be able to make both dates so I’m going to shoot for April 19th and have May 3rd as my backup plan. If the weather holds and April 19th happens then I won’t be at the May 3rd ride. --- Updated Confirmed 1. JasonsBanshee and wife 2. CB6979 3. WINDYCITYJOHN400 (Wes, Bill and Chris) 4. Do you even have anything left to build?!?! LOL You sold off that 10 mill Serval before you even got it running good. Now your building a 20 mill DM???? Looking at the schedule, I assumed May 3rd was a totally separate ride./quote] I planned these same dates (April and May) last year. The April date was rained out and cold. The Badlands was a total mud hole and flooded that weekend. May was the date that our 2013HQ RIDE Fell together. (Shocking how many bikes are still in pieces on the garage floor in April.) LOL But they are 2 seperate rides. I say lets follow your plan and shoot for the April trip as the HQ ride. If the weather sucks, we'll push it back to the May date. I treat the 2 Badlands rides as warm-ups for my Spring St. JOE ride. Gives me a chance to run the bike thru it's paces and loosen up my old bones. LOL
