BAMF87
Well I decided to try and build my own swingarm right now I have 85$ into not including the carrier. I used 1-1/4 dom .120 wall tubing, and the carrier housing and front pivot tube are from jj&a. I'm new to mig welding so excuse the ugly welds. I'm used to stick. I got the eastwood mig 175 from Santa. Anyway here's some pics h Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BAMF87
I still need to put a chain slider mount on it, not sure if I'm going to gusset the front it feels very solid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Piediddy
Oval is stronger than the round, depending on length you will need to strengthen it to stop flexing and throwing chains. Looks awesome though great job keep up the good work.
sidewayz
way to go man. Not everyone can just throw down coin for nice stuff. I build anything I can to save a buck.

BAMF87
How much to build me 1 ?.....I want you to stick weld it tho. Man let me get it finished and ride in it before I go making more. I'd hate for something to go wrong Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Round tube strength and stiffness is the same throughout so it depends if the arm is gonna have any side load.

sleeper06
Mig or tig cant see that close, great job as long as you didnt fill any huge gaps all pipe was tight you should be fine
Deadbeat
its mig, it wouldnt hurt to throw a few gussets on the pivot tube bud, better to over-engineer it once than fix it later
