JTmachining
Idk wats up but I have met JDub in person, I use his products, I give him feedback with his products, and he has always done the right thing. I'm glad he offers products. Without peeps like him in this industry providing products we wouldn't have many options for aftermarket products.

Deadbeat
What's going on with that because I just put one on my daughters quad what are her stats..for like..umm..evaluation purposes body type, booby size, colour and length of hair.. these are all important factors when choosing a swingarm
m671054
I realize things do fail and companies learn in the early stages of production, but i can see skeeters reason for bashing now. This problem appears to be known and a remedy has been made for this issue yet the owners are not aware that they have a faulty product. I understand costs associated to recalling the defective parts would most likley shut the doors to jds but the info should be put out there. I would be mad if i bought a defective product but if someone in my family got injured and the manufacturer knew of the defect i would be irate. Just my 02. Shame it happened and jd is doing a decent job at damage control but consider releasing the info on how to id the early defective arms. 87sheerips
Early arms are 1.125" diameter side tubes. New are 1.25 and double wall thickness. Skeeter has no business talking about this as it does not affect him whatsoever. I have done nothing negative to him, he just enjoys trying to bash me for some reason. I'm not gonna sink to his level, people know who I am and what I am all about and I haven't changed since 2007 when I started in this game. I will continue to offer quality products at good prices. It's a bummer for me to have had some failures but sometimes learning the hard way is just the way it goes.
87sheerips
you see why skeeter bashes? the dude doesnt even own a JDS swinger, he never even rode on one as far as I know.... he is just regurgitating shit he heard, he bashes JDS welding abilities yet the welds arn't even the problem... Skeeter finally got some kind of job welding trailers and now thinks he can weld better then 99.99% of the world... Congrats skeet you finally got some kind of job and don't need obama bucks, try not to fuck this one up... These 1st gen swingers are not an issue for everyone... ive only heard of 2 having issues out of how many has he sold? 1 swinger bent, the rider of that swinger is not some kind of lightweight rider so keep that in mind. (240lbs + last I remember) An update was made since. the 2nd swinger somehow broke from what I read but last I checked, steel doesn't just break or bend that easy.... (how did it break? who was the rider? weight? where was he riding?) JDS has a 1st gen +4 thats been through jumps and the dunes problem free and puts on a fair amount of ride time on his bike, WAY more then most on here and his is fine... Dead makes fun of "swinger stats" every builder I called when I was shopping for a swinger has asked me, what ride style and my weight and given me options from there.... I don't think 2 entirely separate issues is enough to deem a full recall, an update has been done to accommodate any future problems, but out of what? 30 swingers 2 come back is not a means of a huge issue and seems more isolated to +6 and up swingers. I do agree maybe a notice can be put out to make his customers aware.. but anyone that has came back to him with anything JD has always been there and easy to work with. Ive broken a couple swingers (none of which where from JDS) 1 mild steel and one chromoly... shit does break... not one swinger out there will have the exact same integrity or strength, everything varies. Thanks Jesse. I had a first gen on mine and it was fine. I did update to the gen 2, #1 to confirm fitment and durability, #2 to run my latest and greatest design. Shit does break, we all know that. There are prob a few first gen swingers out there that are doing just fine. It matters on rider and terrain. I haven't sold a lot of swingers. In my opinion there isn't much better bang for the buck. I ride the shit out of mine without issue. I weigh 210 and slam my bike with a +4 swinger all day.

Nieskes
So actively building junk products that bend break fall apart. Buy parts that need modded to even fit. Yes that's what we need. Jds#1 . Bump for QUALITY productsdude, He is fixing the fucking mistake. What more is he suppose to do? What would you do? You seriously think he was knowingly sending junk parts out? There is a time to be your funny douchbag self this is not the place.
87sheerips
He should contact and replace every old swingarm that's been sent out. Before someone gets hurt . But just wait till it breaks , that's a good idea. I'm done. Goodluck jd when your ass goes to court for building junk. Dude I build very few arms. Do you know how many people break other "brand name" arms? I hear many... Take your aggression out on somebody else this shit is getting old bubba. I have nothing against you, you should have nothing against me. I run all of my own products and they all perform. What the hell else am I supposed to do? Run it rich and hammer down, just like I've always done
