tkiss1
Dave 5.0- yes that's exactly correct which is weird to me.. Yes the slides should be in the correct locations, they have the divit for the window on the carb which is visible. I'm gonna take apart the carb and make sure the hole is not covered
trickedcarbine
You need to sync the carbs while running. There is a YouTube video of some hillbilly doing and it's pretty insightful
tkiss1
from my understanding if they are out of sync the slide should still not get stuck. Im sure I don't have a 100% accurate sync but I think that would just affect performance almost like fine tuning it. Both slides are at the same height and move togeather when off as I stated earlier. Once bike is running the choke side seems to stick, almost as if the vacuum created from the intake is pulling it in and holding it there. I oiled it up yesterday but it was to late to run it longer but seemed okay. its 13 degrees out now so im not even going to mess with it today. tkiss1
It seems like the little oil I put on the slides have helped for now. Rode it around a little yesterday and It wasn't getting stuck. Thanks everyone for their help!
