2003 banshee wont start

Recommended Posts

I have a 2003 banshee that I picked up 3 weeks ago.  It didnt run when I got it but after simply cleaning the carbs it was running great.  Yesterday I acquired another banshee, this one being a 1994 fully built bike.  It also would not start so I swapped my carbs from the 2003 to the 1994 and still no start so swapped them back and now the 2003 will not start (seems like it has no spark at all with brand new NGK br8es plugs. I check the pickup gap and it was way off so I gapped it to .015 as I read that is the recommendation and still no spark.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Both bikes will pull start and run for about 2-3 seconds before the stall out.

Freshly Mixed fuel, Tors was deleted when I got it and I had to clean up a lot of wires that they didnt know what to do with,  Air filters are clean K&N filters with outter filters also, I have tried just the filters and no filters and still no start.

Not to be mean or anything but did you look at a stock electrical diagram and connect everything back the way it was meant to be? Also is the TORS wires deleted from the electrical system?

I used a diagram and did the best I could possibly do restoring it back to original.   After doing all the wiring I rode the atv for over a week before taking the carbs off to try them on the 1994 banshee.  I have a toggle on off for the headlights and a momentary for the kill switch which I currently have disconnected
