uman1030
Wondering how big of a difference in these pipes for a 421 on pump gas. Trying to make a decision asap to either buy a used set of rockets or add to my order at FAST for some shearers since I hear a good used set us hard to find
dave5.0
Shearers
joey83
Snipers are the best pipe. Proven. What do you have now?
uman1030
Its for a new build I have t5s which I won't be installing on this build.
locogato11283
What kind of riding are you doing?
uman1030
These are also for a serval cub trail bike Little of everything the track I ride is basically an MX track with diffrent areas some open fields, two tracks and wooded trails but also want to hit some dunes this summer up at silver lake dunes. locogato11283
It all depends on what you want out of the bike.. If you want it coming on strong off the bottom but signing off early up top, go with Rockets. If you want to lose a little on the bottom but want it pulling longer on top, go with Shearer. For MX and trails, I would opt for Rockets. For open dunes, I would opt for Shearer. There's a chance that Sniper may be the best pipe for that motor, but we haven't done the testing on a 4mm Serval yet.
Fast_quad_03
I do the same with my 4 mil serval. I never had either pipes your mentioning, but im currently running pro circuits and love them. I have ran cpis on the motor and they were also a great match. sheerider11
Or cpi's. They would be in the middle of the 2. I ride CPI in sand pits/trails. Love em. Not bad bottom end. Can roll up a hill In any gear and pull through it. and enough top end to get myself jammed up in a hurry if I'm not careful.
dirtydownunder
funny how a 3rd party has to test the snipers on diff motors as the designer has no idea how they work haha.
dave5.0
funny how a 3rd party has to test the snipers on diff motors as the designer has no idea how they work haha. The third party testing came out almost exactly like the "designer" said they would? What did I miss?
dirtydownunder
he said they wont work with low timed setups. they favor higher port numbers.
WINDYCITYJOHN400
The third party testing came out almost exactly like the "designer" said they would? What did I miss? The 7 extra promised HP they claimed their pipes would make over any other brand…. (He claimed 10 more HP and only delivered 3…..sounds like the designer was only off by 70%!) Try that same test on a 4 mill Serval and the motor won't make the power then "Designer" claims his pipes need to be better. So if we are to believe the "Designer"…anything under 90HP should stop dreaming and go with another brand.

WINDYCITYJOHN400
Who's whining? I'm not down 7 HP from what MY pipe "Designer" promised me. Does your motor make 90+ HP ? I'm sure anyone with a stock cylinder based 4 mill who was looking forward to maybe the Sniper pipe being a great pipe for them….might think differently once they hear they need 90+ HP for the pipe to even work right. (That eliminates MOST site members bikes. INCLUDING 4 MILL CLEAN-UP PORT CUBS/SERVALS)
