oldbanshee
T5's, I like my t5's, but if I was into duning I'd have a set of cpi's(or the power pro cpi copies). They are leg burners though, and the t5's work pretty good with my motor work, and don't burn my pants. I wrote to toomey on this, since I have motor work done, they said to order t5's. T6's are like sst's, they aren't made to work with ported motors.
camatv
if you are going to upgrade from pc's go with the cpi's you will only notice a loss in power switching to lrd and yes i know this first hand

WyoDuner
Another vote for CPIs. I have 2 Banshees - 1 has T5s and the other has CPIs. The CPIs definately seem to pull longer and harder. I'm now a believer in CPI.
Spank_N_U
I have t-5's on my bike with some mild portwork and im turnin out 68hp to the wheels. My buddy has got a 10mm stroker with the cpi's and hes turnin out 72 on the dyno.....you need to look at the dyno charts like the other guy said before you run out and buy pipes. not only are they a ton of cash but you want the right pipe for the right application. fmf fattys and toomeys are awesome pipes for duning. but if you do desert riding or trail riding you may want a pipe with a bit less of a powerband. just my .
camatv
sst's on a ported ban that i know rev's to 13,500!!! (egt?verified)on a circle track was last clocked at around 100mph on a half mile it runs sweet 16/40 gearing w 20"tires!!! also this is tru you need the pipes that best match your type of riding if you do just trails or tight mx style riding with a lot of moving on the bike i would say paulturners but beware they wont rev like other pipes, fmf's are great all around pipe but i feel the pro's are a little bit better for high speed trail and draggging full dragging and play hill shooting are better for mod motors and cpi or similar inframe drag pipes also full dragging i would say outside drag pipes are the best.. just my opinon??? Oilsmoke
nickban8 Here is your Answer. A Tech a Toomey racing answer this question for me. What series pipe was better on a ported motor. Answer T5. Reason i ask, His reply was the T6 was designed for a Stock motor and make more power than a T5 does on a Stock motor, That stock motor was his 2003 and he sais it was about 56 hp. SO it depends, Modifed or Not. So to answer your question Modifed motor T5 Stock T6.
