wayne_smith97
Anyone have any experience with the harbor freight compression tester? I know you generally get what you pay for but was just wondering if they work ok
sheerider11
No. Inhad one that read 60 psi in everything, and 2 that would read different back to back by about 20 psi. Junk all around

Tech AS
I bought one. It sucked. Usually I luck out with Harbor Freight stuff but not that time.
wayne_smith97
I'm gonna pick one up and match it to my neighbors comp tester from napa and see if they repeat each other if not I will take it back
tdod101
No one makes a decent product any more ffs
Free yellow banshee
I have one and seems to work good. It has been compared with a snap on and was within 1 pound. Sounds like they are hit or miss. If mine ever starts acting up i'll just get a gauge for it. The case and fittings are good too. fappy'97
No one makes a decent product any more ffs This is NOT true. Cheap stuff is cheap, not even decent... 95% of the time. People spend $15 on a compression tester and are shocked that it isn't consistent. Orlly.
Bad one ton
Yeah i wouldn't go cheap on diagnostic tools. You get what you pay for. My snap-on has been going strong for 10+ years and still is accurate with my buddies mac and the shops snap-on. TON!
