Sheeboy12
I replaced the front pads in the front and also disconnected the front calipers to clean them. I put everything back together and proceded to bleed the brakes. I got fluid to slowly come out of the right side. Then i tried the left. My friend and i pumped for a go 30 min and no luck. We made sure that the hollow bolts were facing the correct way, we check to make sure that the master cylinder was good too. Fluid isn't leaking any where either, it's just not getting any thing to the left side? Thanx
jcharne
when i had mine apart it took forever to get them bled right. maybe close the one that fluid is coming out of and open the other side. let it sit for awhile and see if the fluid starts to come out
cb67rs1
unless you have an automatic brake bleeder you will be there a while, you have to pump the hell out of that thing. the fastest way i have found without a automatic bleeder is to pull the handle off and use a extension or something so you get more throw when you are pumping it( haha that sounds funny ) anyways that seems to always work for me, good luck
jcharne
cb, you sure your pumping the brakes when you use the extension. haha, j/k
sksummers
Go buy a Mighty-vac, it is the best $30 you will ever spend. It sucks the fluid through the system, no more pumping. Takes about 2 minutes to bleed a front brake system.
MULLET~BOY
yup you got to get one of them you will never get it hand pumping
Tungsten
Take the calipers off and point the bleeder up in the air. Then pump the brakes up and bleed it while the bleeder is still facing up. This is what I had to do with mine.
