troyzstang
Wrist pin bearing are NEVER part of a top end kit. At least not in the kits I've bought.
jacowils
To clarify to all that thought i was bad mouthing jeff at fast this had nothing to do with him personally or his shop i just thought that all top end kits should come with wrist pin bearings if it comes with wrist pins dont you? Me being heated and ranting was aimed at wiseco for not making those standard with all their kits again nothing to do with jeff at fast he is a great guy and has helped me out tons i have nothing but great things to say about him and his work so please do not bother him with texts and calls saying i am bad mouthing him it was simple venting is all. I was very excited to put my top end together and once i realized i didnt have one little but neccesary thing i was mad. So please let this be the end of it all is well. Again my apologies if i offended anyone not my intent i was just being impulsive when i was mad is all a simple mis understanding.
J-Madd
I agree 100%. It's a pita to have to specifically order wrist pin bearings when ordering pistons. Maybe Wiseco thinks they don't go bad (and maybe they DON'T often), but sometimes it's worth the extra $30 or so to know you have new bearings in there. Tedder
Years ago I found myself in your place expecting the wrist pin bearings to be in the piston kits. After all, who'd put in all those fresh parts including a new pin w/o a new bearing? Whenever I've bought a Hot Rod or Crankworks crank wrist pin bearings were zip tied to the rod end so I guess that's why companies like Wiseco don't automatically include them with the kit. Someone should write a book of all the crap that we get schooled on when dealing with these dang Banshees lol. Anyway - Call Jeff and he'll hook you up right away. I'm surprised that slipped past him as he's usually very good about mentioning any other items that might be needed for our projects. Good luck with your build. Deadbeat
so whats going on here, some shops pulling the bearings out to sell separate?
locogato11283
so whats going on here, some shops pulling the bearings out to sell separate? No. They're always separate. It's just that some people are too fucking stupid or lazy to make sure they order some. This is just another example of people not taking responsibility and making sure they have everything they need.

possum
Well in my case I know what I need. And I order th accordingly. But like mentioned here, they should come in the piston box. And from what i have ever seen they never do. But there is shops that give out those wang wristpin bearings.
