Sandking
What's with the black part Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
ABQ
I think it was originally black and the previous owner just sprayed it with orange without removing anything. There was a bunch of orange overspray on everything when I got it.

03DMshee
I don't know what kind of horse shit powder coat you guys have experience with, but It took an acetylene torch to cook my powder coat off my subframe to get it modded. I can't picture chipping that shit. (Not any place that anyone would see.) Mine has held up to sand, gas, oil, grease, brake cleaner, multiple engine removals and installs, fame dragged over trailer side rails, hot pipes, even brake fluid. Im on the same page. ..im sick of seeing people bashing powder coating...99% of my bike is powder coated and I ride in the coal region with hardly any problems... And powder doesnt "chip"
fappy'97
And powder doesnt "chip" Yes it does. I had some done by someone on here and it chipped EVERYWHERE. I do a lot of powdercoating myself, now.... And I've never had it chip.
Starwriter
If it chips, it wasn't baked properly. You should be able to bend the metal and not have it chip.

Finch
Nope never had it chip I've even had to scrape some off to expose the vin to the dmv and scratches off like paint but 10x harder to get off.
