bignasty1 Posted November 8, 2003 Report Share Posted November 8, 2003 okay well i got the thing to idle finally it does that great got it jetted pretty much as spot on as i can with these nutty temp changes and i found out it doesnt die when i hit either one of the 3 ways to kill the motor so i gotta stall it to get it to shut off... my teather kill switch doesnt work my key switch doesnt work and my stock kill switch doesnt work where could the problem be at?it still runs starts and al the other bs but it doesnt die. ohh and i just bought a set of lazr lights what do i do to install them do they hook up just like stock or do i gotta cut shit up and connect things. l8ter blake Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is one by tthe gas tank coming from the handlebars, and one on the side of the air box going to the back. BTW, keep flaunting!!! If your talking about a ground end that just needs to be grounded, then you can just attach it at any bolt on the frame. Chip away a little paint if need be to get a good connection. If your talking about the wire to one of the switch harnesses being to short then just grab some wire of the same gauge (wire thickness, not the insulation thickness) from a hardware store and splice it on. Depending on how good a job you want to do, you can just twist the wires together and wrap it with electrical tape, or you could put a wire nut on the splice, or go all out and solder the wires together and apply heat shrink tubing to seal it up and make it look professional. Soldering wires is easy as pie. Jsut make sure you heat up the wires and touch the solder to the wires not the other way around. Heatshrink over it will make it look nice and keep it protected.
