Pastrykiller
I've seen them on the cases in 2 different spots. Typically on the rear and on the stator side above and below the seals.
NYUK
all matched cases are hand engraved upper and lower same numbers and letters, back, right side.older cases are not machined on the upper for the crank circlip.
Budweiserallday
Still not sealing all the way (little gap in the same spot ) it was not my pins they were where they were supposed to be . Any other suggestions i don't see any obstructions blocking them from sitting right .
Pastrykiller
Check all of your half moon bearing clips. Ensure they are seated in the tranny bearing and that they are seated in the grooves of the case. The large bearing on the sprocket side has a tendency to not line up and you have to move it gently to the left or ride side to allow it to seat. The half moon clip should be in the bottom case. Ensure that the ends of the clip are level on both side and not extending above the deck of the case half. Check this and see of it's the problems
hp2000
Trans assembled/sitting correctly ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Starwriter
If you assembled it empty like I suggested, and if it's not the alignment dowels hanging up, then your cases are fucked
camatv
is the gap still there after you tq'd all the bolts?? was it ever running before? did it have a massive rear oil leak? if the cases are ok there is some kind of misalignment. NO amount of internet questions are going to fix that for you. you need to look for the problem
Starwriter
I guess we'll never know what the problem was.
