Justintoxicated
Ok so I think I have gone through like 20 of these things now. I can't find any way around it. My CPI pipes fit like shit. Whats the solution? New pipes? I need something high quality that will add some mid-range or at least deliver smooth power from a 421 CUB. sprinklerman
Are your pods angled? And what intakes are you using?
dave5.0
And what intakes are you using? First thing I'd look at. Are you running reed spacers?
Justintoxicated
Yea they are angled pods. No matter how I angle them the filter will hit right near the carburetor. Intakes are billet with no cross vent, not sure on the make. It's the left one that hits, the right barley clears but haven't melted it yet. dave5.0
Are your stingers on the wrong sides? Yes it can happen! I was thinkin that. But was gonna wait for you.
Justintoxicated
hmm backwards stingers... I don't think so but I will look into that. I guess Just remove them, then flip the silencers end the other way? I also have this issue. Another Picture, although this side seems to clear once I add rubber bands. 5150banshee
I run chariot intakes and no reed spacers and my shearers clear everything they fit really nice. The intakes also made my 39's clear the clutch. Sent using Iphone5 onTapatalk
jbooker82
Boss one piece intake, and 10 deg angled pods. CPI pipes with a Cascade heat wrap on the LH side. I have plenty of room on the RH side.
rubberneck
I run cascade heat wraps as well with my cpi. I have white knuckle intakes and angled pods, but without the nasa wraps its a melted outerwear.
