Coupelx Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Needing rebuild kits and the plastic things that separate the springs for starters. With mattscss out i figured id start here before braving the interwebs. Quote
Starwriter Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 You can buy then direct from Works, but... Beware, they suck. I ordered a bunch of parts and they charged me for them, but forgot to include some of the parts. I called them and they shipped out the missing parts. When they arrived, the cheap bastards didn't put enough postage on it, so I had to pay my mailman some change to get my parts. Quote
Coupelx Posted November 30, 2013 Author Report Posted November 30, 2013 Yea thats kinda why i wanted to see if a sponsor could get me the stuff. I deal with enough of that shit at work. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted December 1, 2013 Report Posted December 1, 2013 Sell works, buy new age stuff.... Quote
Coupelx Posted December 1, 2013 Author Report Posted December 1, 2013 Send me your checkbook or gtfo. Quote
camatv Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 you can get parts through works OR you can find most all the seals and o-rings locally i'm sure. oil is just 5wt to 10wt shock oils. works charges a shit ton for the shipping on their stuff.. internal stuff you'd need to get straight from them OR you can try racetech. Coupelx Posted December 2, 2013 Author Report Posted December 2, 2013 Yea i figured the orings i can get from work but the sealheads i imagine needs to come from them. Never thought of racetech. Ill have To give them a call. Quote
chevota84 Posted December 2, 2013 Report Posted December 2, 2013 The pep shocks I bought for my 250r were identical to triple rate works. SF racing or Baldwin sell pep stuff. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk Quote
camatv Posted December 6, 2013 Report Posted December 6, 2013 its just a std oil seal ( dust seal) and a special durometer sealing ring ( inside the head actual seal). nothing different than a hydraulic cylinder really. i get everything to reseal them at a local hydraulic repair facility. and if anyone says these seals are not right well they work in cylinders carrying thousands of pounds of hyd pressure.. i dont think these shocks are nearly anywhere close to that range. WORKS does sell "kits" to reseal std steelers type shocks. Quote
Coupelx Posted December 7, 2013 Author Report Posted December 7, 2013 thats handy. i sell hydraulic seals. thanks cam. Quote
