Burke
with the drill batteries are you using Li Ion, NiCad, or what?... the new DeWalt Li Ion XR batteries seem to be about the best deals out there right now.
n2otoofast4u
Dry cell be able to give enough power to a msd all day without any drop in power? Id run an msd and remote start on a hill bike! Makes things much easier.
troyzstang
just put a good dry cell bike battery in it, you can wear flip flops instead of shoes to make up the weight and wear a lycra body suit so you cut through that wind like a knife Flip Flops on a drag bike...... That crown belongs to Surf.
fastkid
Id run an msd and remote start on a hill bike! Makes things much easier. Could you elaborate why? Does starting a bike take a lot more power then just running one? Why wouldn't you just remote start a 300 ft bike too if it's a lot easier? locogato11283
Could you elaborate why? Does starting a bike take a lot more power then just running one? Why wouldn't you just remote start a 300 ft bike too if it's a lot easier? He was being sarcastic. You obviously missed it. The point he's trying to make is that if it's a HILL bike, you should try to keep it as simple as possible. Do you really want to try to lug a remote starter around in the sand? And why run an ignition that needs a battery if you really DON'T need it? If you're building a hill only bike you're seriously over thinking it. fastkid
That's why I said just run a stocker a few pages back that it wasn't worth it. Didn't realize batteries were such a pain. I take things literal too often, apparently. Don't like to miss out on a tip from someone more experienced if they have logic behind it, not being a smartass Edited December 8, 2013 by fastkid
RadarRacing
I have seen Zachass ride with flip flops or boat shoes and no socks and he had his stator cover off so he could watch his flywheel and see if it got loose. Crazy ass. Lmao

fastkid
It's a bunch of pieces in my house at the moment. I'll start a build thread once I get all my aluminium anodized and new powder. It's a ziggy chassis.
