Deadbeat
should prolly do a leakdown on the spare motor if its been shelved for a bunch of time, might have to put new seals through it
Denny2424
I checked the compression. I don't have a leak down tester. There wasn't any oil leaking in obvious places. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Deadbeat
you arent looking for oil leaks you are looking for air leaks
RagunCajun
You can make a leak down tester for cheap. A seal kit is also about $50 or close to it. I forget the actual price. So for under $125 you can have new seals and proof you engine doesnt have an air leak.An air leak can even be something as simple as a tiny leak by the reeds or carbs. The price of a new seal kit and leak down tester is than a motor going lean or stress cause by you not being able to figure out why you are having issues jetting it correctly or it running right. Do it right. Youll thank yourself later.
Denny2424
There is one for sale on ebay for $67.00. I'm just going to order it so I don't have to run around looking for all the parts to make it. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

Denny2424
The works are nice but they need a rebuild. I had the raptor shocks already in nice shape. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
