slobanshee
Been curious. Iv heard some guys say they are gonna freshen up thier engines this winter. What all do you consider freshening up if the engines still happy and healthy?
trickedcarbine
Tear down, inspect everything. Replace seals, gaskets, bearings, plugs, maybe pistons, sometimes clutch, etc.
Jereme6655
/\x2...... Also a thorough scrubbing and modifications if the riders experience and pocket book warrant it....
Zillaguy
I go through my entire bike in the winter... Not just the engine.... Check everything, anything that is not perfect, gets tore down and gone through.. I like my bike to be tight and finely tuned, it makes for a much better riding season. Plus if something is out of whack you'll notice it easier, if it's well maintained.

wayne_smith97
My wife gets mad when I bring stuff in to work on it. She has this crazy idea that the table is only for food. When it's cold outside the kitchen table serves multiple purposes at my house.

Zillaguy
LOL Finch reminds me of building my 347 stroker in the living room of my old apt. when I was 20! It was a bitch getting it down 3 flights of stairs! And the neighbors complained about paint fumes from painting the block! I had a fan in the window!
