Young Guns Racing
Mod the trans Mod the shift shaft Mod the shift star Billet basket Pancake bearing Billet impeller Advance timing Of coarse all new seals Leakdown test x2 all things I did when i built my stock cylinder 4 mil. Its already been mentioned but if you do not do something with that suspension, your new found power will almost be "useless". Stock suspension wont help you get it all to the ground. You've got more money to spend lol you will be 34973247x happier after you do tho
KaN Powersports
Wider + Longer = Turning slower-for what it is worth . Almost a must with your new found power, but with tight trails in mind, you'll have some trade-offs to consider...
KaN Powersports
with +2s, a banshee is about as wide as more newer 450s. You're right Then there's the LTR 450 haha -Just saying......
RagunCajun
You dont need biggers carbs and aNother set of filters on that engine. stock carbs and your current filter is fine.
Tech AS
You're right Then there's the LTR 450 haha -Just saying...... Yea I had an 06 for a while. It sure was nice... I miss that quad.
KAMIKAZE
Don't worry new shocks will be on the way before this motor is all together So will there be any gains from changing carbs ? Or none that are worth the price tag of them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dave5.0
Gong from stock carbs to 33s on a ported cub would definetly be worth it. I don't have any numbers to puke out, but a ported cub is going to flow WAY more than a set if stock cylinders. Bigger carbs would be beneficial. Young Guns Racing
More air in the right setup is more hp. Simple as that. I love pwks, they respond really well and are super easy to jet and tune. I run 35 pwks on my stock cyld 4 mil, its just my prefference but I will never run a stock carb again if I can help it lol And if you havnt cosidered it toss those off the shelf domes up for sale and have a builder cut you some custom domes. You'll get a little more out of it than u will with standards
dutchy954
my plus 2 banshee is just a half inch wider than my ltr450... Buy suspension first!! Suspension is pricey but you wont regret it!
sstaton1983
My stock cylinder made 70 hp on stock carbs and the throttle response was great. But the cub is going to want bigger carbs for sure.
