hey all back again, i havent been here forever :blink:

anyway i was wondering what you think i should be jetting for with the weather being about 20 to 30 degrees here in MN. my mods should still be listed in my sig but if there not ill hafta punch them in.

You have no sig!!!! BTW, how are those arms treating you?? Did you ever figure out why they were hitting???

oops sorry about the sig guys forgot to check that :blink: ill get one on here asap.

 

Banchetta--i never found out why they were hitting but i just build up the stops on the steering stem with the wire feed and it seems to be working ok but i can still get the rims to hit if i jump and turn hard in the air. it seems weird but i dont know what else i can do without sacraficing my turning radius. but otherwise they are working great. i havent ridden in awhile but im hoping to sometime next week when i get some new jets.

the motor mods are as follows: bored .060 over, wiseco pistons, hot rod crank, 28mm minkuni carbs, toomey t5 pipes and scilencers, boost bottle, boyesen reeds, k&n filter, air box snorkel removed, reed spacers, and i think that is about it. thanks guys

Are you planning on cutting the air box lid or leaving it whole??

sounds real close to my set up.i'm at sea level w-stock crank+stock carbs,about 60deg.temp.6toomey air box vents,snorkel off lid uncut.dynojet neadles+mains.290mj.neadle middle clid,idle screw 1 turn out.i also run a outer ware over the k+n.

Start w/310 mains, needle stock postion, and try the stock pilot and adust the air screws for throttle response..let us know how that works...
