foxrider603
I have a good size dent in my fmf silencer is this going to negatively affect anything. I know large dents in the expansion chambers can be a problem but i didnt know if silencers were equally affected.

Tech AS
As long as it doesnt bottleneck the flow of the exhaust, i don't see why it would affect the performance as far as silencers go. A dent on the expansion chamber would be a different story. Is the dent on the pipe section or the "muffler" section? Approximate size and depth of the dent? Now repacking that silencer might be a bitch. You might be able to push or beat the dent out of it when you take the silencer apart next time you repack.
