ngelati
Are douglas .125 good (similar to stock)? Or should i pay $10.00 more per wheel to upgrade to .190 Douglas?
tats4life
Upgrade espically if you plan on jumping or racing mx. I have crushed rear 125's many of times. The upgrade is money well spent. I have to run beadlocks now and bent two race wheels.
fixitrod
You should get the .190's. The stock rims are probably tougher than the .190's are. I've dinged up my front .190's from jumping and trail riding. They are holding up fine though.
BenBB
I agree, get the .190's. Not sure exactly what stock is but the .125's and .160's are surely lighter, for your riding I wouldn't get less than .190, and if possible beadlocks ($$$) or reinforcing rings... SCOTT PRESSLEY
.We had a PARTS UNLIMITED rep at the track the other day and he said less than 190's would just fold with any kind of hard riding . The 190's would last longer, but if you plan on mx beadlocks or race wheels are the only way to go.
txblueshee
.190's are the strongest you can get b4 race/beadlock rims. Worth the extra 10$. EDIT: False statement on my part. Mike
.
dont confuse parts unlimited with Recreation Unlimited. Two different companies. All I know is that I better get my money back from those bastards.
