KaN Powersports Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 Drill and tap hub and use a puller with three bolts. (Don't drill into stator!!!) This is how they all used to be done anyway-sleds still... Quote
wayne_smith97 Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 fuck welding, use a 3 jaw puller. I had to use a 3 jaw puller. Luckily I didn't mess up the stator. Quote
camatv Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 if the flywheel is fucked anyways. dosent matter how you get it off... one i had to actually cut it completely off. welded 2 pullers to it, 3 jaw just bent the hell out of it. was able to save the stator tho... budget i'm gonna rebuild it cheap then sell to make a lot of money bikes are few and far between... rebuild labor rate i'd say 100-150 + parts. and no matter what if the rods are jacked up the center bearings are too.
