Gotmils?
Just wondering if it would be worth the money my goal is getting in the 5s in the 1/8 with me on it(215) my chassis is very light and i know tires and gearing and overall setup plays a big role..but I've seen some supercub run in the 5s but not with someone my size on it. .now I already have the supercub but ive never ran it....if the dm is worth it then I will buy a dm

LT ROOKIE
I'm in a similar situation. I am 230 and about finish with my 535 10 mill cheetah. Is this motor capable of running 5's with my weight or does it take a DM to do it. Gentlemen we just want to know if the smaller motors can pull our weight that distance in 5 plus seconds. JayCLL
DM for sure. 10 DM is a great motor, wish I never would have sold mine lol. But you already have the SC why not see what it does before you spend money on case work and a new topend

locogato11283
This is simple. Buy that 20DM in the for sale section and be done with it.
Gotmils?
I know the setup up is the key and Ive thought about that 20dm but I know a guy with 10dmx for 6500 from carbs to pipes..im just confused as f***
n2otoofast4u
More often than not continually changing your motor combo will yield disappointing results. Id spend much more time perfecting a setup with a motor than constantly changing the power plant.

Gotmils?
Yep this is me started with 7milcub by k&t then went to a 565 trex then a 421cub now this 521 supercub... trickedcarbine
It definitely should. STY has with a 443 cub in a stock chassis. So spend time making it all work and see what you get. You mention you had a light weight chassis, is it a modded stocker or legit drag frame?
