J-Madd Posted October 26, 2013 Report Share Posted October 26, 2013 We have ran with less than 6 springs. 4 or 3 springs seems to give decent/equal pressure across the clutch pack. I still stand by using all 6 springs to get the base pressure total right. Gotcha this guy I was talking about ran 5 on a 6 spring setup. Wheelman Chassis Posted October 26, 2013 Report Share Posted October 26, 2013 Mike, when you go to your basket driven your base numbers will likely be lower. and launch rpm will be very critical. from what ive learned with my hays multistage is that you need more arm weight on the 3rd stage arms(if your using it like that) then you would think. my .02 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
