sprinklerman
Any time I've ever rattled a plug out,it was from it being lean,,for what ever reason. ( Air leak or jetting) If you do a leak down and pass, and your carbs are good, its probably lean on the needle. I cant remember a time where a lean main jet rattled a plug out. Its possible, don't get me wrong, but people tend to throw a bigger main at a lean jetting situation, and just mask a lean needle setting. As for CC'ing the domes,,i wouldn't waste my time. Brandon knows what he's doing on his domes, and like Finch said, even if you DID CC them, that's only a part of the formula,,it really wont tell you much anyway. Finch
^^agreed I was rattling plugs out this last weekend richened up the needle and put the plugs in a lil tighter and all was good only thing I thought of trying since plugs looked perfect. I'm still not narrowing down that as my issue but deff helped.

sprinklerman
I have seen 4 motors toasted from floats being out of wack ^^Yep. That's why i prefaced what i said by " if your carbs are good". ( no stuck floats, set at proper level, no clogged jets, etc) Good looking out. Strm Trpr
If your leakdown test doesn't pass, use a spray bottle with soapy water to help find the leak. If you see bubbles, you found the leak.
trickedcarbine
Ahh, just try to do every thing these knowledgable fellas have said. If it doesn't work, fire it up and run that pig WOT. It'll quit backing the plugs out eventually. I mean it might not run anymore, but at least you know the plugs are not backing out.
