Dear Stupid,

Maybe you have missed the whole idea that emission restrictions will soon phase out every mass produced 2 stroke in this country. Why in the fuck would anyone spend huge cash to produce something that is nearly banned in this place? Get real!

wasnt it trenton tingy that said it best. your like a tick on a deer that wont go away lol.  no but back to your question. i didnt say anything about banshee tuners over seas. i said the foremost 2t experts were over seas. you can look up jan thiel, the guy behind the aprliia rsa. more world titles than you can shake a stick at, more than anyone else i do believe. and like another guy said that was in the same circle of people, the best cylinder in history. there is a new design recently that is supposed to exceed the rsa performance . i believe it is running but not sure of any power numbers. from what i understand it was destined to be a 125cc but the gp 2t is all but dead so it got scaled down to a 50cc

I dont get it. A guy comes on here asking about his banshee right? Your basic reply discredits a post on another forum that delves into the question at hand. Then to try and qualify what you said, instead of producing relevant data from the so called "foremost experts" that applies to the guys question, you allude to the rsa cyl, then post a picture of a overseas cyl design that didnt even make it to production? I think itd be nice if one of these " formost tuners" you speak of could take the ancient designs our builders are forced to work with ( banshee based cyls and cases) and produce similar results...won't happen. Know why? They are spoiled so to speak by starting out with newer technology and not saddled with what banshee builders are. But that does NOT make them "foremost" as you put it. Turn them loose on a banshee based engine (that IS what this forum is about after all) and see what results when comparing them to the builders stateside. The difference is that the stateside builders have years of real world R& D .

that cylinder with the 360 trans ports has already been cast, there is photos of it as a finished product. and it its on a running engine if i recall although i dont know any exact details of its performance but it was suppose to exceed the rsa.

wheres all the new ideas if theres so much real world r&d ? all i see is the same setups from years ago.  i asked about a stepped port. anybody tried that ?  theres plenty more ideas  atleast worth trying. nothing ventured nothing gained.

how many guys use a full programable ign ?

im not even convinced pipe technology in the usa is on par with what theyre doing in other parts of the world

the original question was regarding wether the volume of a trench would cause issues. i dont believe so but whateva. the logical approach would be to increase volume until power drops off, or am i wrong ?

Whats sooo funny is, even with all this ^^^  Ive yet to see an overseas "tuner" come to the states and make a name,,or even be competitive in the race scene ( speaking strictly Banshees, since this is a banshee based site).

alot of info but im not gonna bother posting it. all the parts changers that dont have a clue how it works will just call it bs

its not that we don't care or are closed minded, that being said most of what your posting has nothing to do with a banshee engine. there are physical limits to what can be done with the stock banshee layout. custom billet cases, custom built cylinders etc aren't cheap. the money, support, and demand simply isn't there for anyone to completely redo a 80's model design that works fairly well with some aftermarket parts.  if you have a few million to waste hit up one of the builders and show us how stupid we are.
