mfritz23
hi im mike new to bansheehq I just bought my first banshee it has a lot of mods done and was built by f.a.s.t racing I was wondering how to tell if it has a different timing plate or they advanced the stock one guy I bought it from never mentioned also when someone says +4 domes what cc would it be just curious questions appreciate it thanks
sprinklerman
Look at the plate and see if the mounting holes are slotted. If they are, then its either a modded plate or aftermarket. Makes no difference either way. They are both adjustable. A modded stock plate will max out around 4-5* depending on how far they slotted it. Plenty of advance for pump gas. Zillaguy
The cc's of the dome is not related to the +4... The +4 is how deep the domes are cut so the pistons can recieve into them with a stroker crank... The cc's are determined by the size and shape of the combustion chamber, and squish band clearance. hoppedupandcutdown
You should see if the guy you bought it from might still have a copy of the invoice from F.A.S.T. for the motor work, it will come in handy. Or at least give you a list from memory to give you a better idea of what you bought. You eventually will need to know.
2strokeshees
Or if it was recent give FAST a call. They might remember the bike or build they did.
