BANSHEE TURBO CHARGER KIT

Haters of turbos have never had one or rode one

The problem with buying a turbo "kit" is the fact that no matter how good the builder is and/or how simplified their kit is it is nearly impossible to get it to run perfectly pass after pass. When they're on, they're stupid fast. When they're off, others can keep up ;). Dan hull is a buddy of mine and he'll tell you flat out that he doesn't push the turbo kits because they're so involved. Tyson has simplified his kit to make it more user friendly but he'll tell the same thing Jordan said, invest in crank seals and reeds. Which to some is a deterrent but for 160+hp out of a stock 350 is incredible

^^^ I have never seen a turbo bike make 2 or 3 clean passes in a row. Sometimes in a whole weekend. 4 strokes included. Like QP said, when they do go, they are fast. I've never had one but always wondered what changes (or what the tuner changes) pass to pass. K&T was always looking at something on their Raptor when they would decide if it was gonna make a pass or not in the pre stage.

Blow thru carb setup must be a fucking bitch to get running right. If i were to go the turbo route id go Fuel injection or do it to a four stroke.

The blow trough concept isn't hard to tune, but he trial and error of setting them up and plumbing them is the learning curve.

Id expect the plumbing and mounting of the turbo to actually be easy, the difficult part is ALWAYS having to tune depending on weather. Turbo stuff is really A/F dependent.

Easy once you know how to understand the feed back of a bike. Lean throw fuel at it. Rich take it out till it is just starting to show deto and then back off a bit. Or you could be conservative, but let's face it. Turbo bike owners aren't very conservative on the tune up when it really matters.

(Note: that last statement depends on MY idea of conservative not yours)
